On Saturday we all walked for our little friend Paulie who was born at 24 weeks. He is now 5 months and doing better. Usually families only raise about $600 but Paulies family and friends raised over $10, 000!!!!!!! We can't wait for him to go home and be with his family!

Elijah is already a good citizen
Today Elijah was walking his dog on a string and told me "I have poop." I thought he had poop in his diaper but he informed me "I have poop in my bag" as he held up his pretend bag of dog poop. About a week ago he asked our neighbor, who was walking his dog, what was in his blue bag. My neighbor explained to him about picking up his puppy's poop. Elijah is constantly shocking me with his knowledge.

So we have decided to go more GREEN
I was talking to Kimberly about the concept of cloth toilet paper instead of wasting sooooo much paper everyday (I wish I would have thought about this when I was preggo and going a million times a day) and she told me about No Impact Man. It's a documentary on a cute little family going completely green for a year. One of the things I liked about it was that he did it in a few different phases instead of taking on too much all at once. Honestly I want to do so many more things the green way but it's a lot work and you have to learn a whole new way of doing everyday things. For instance, it's hard to always remember to bring your cloth bags into the store or bring my coffee cup to 7-11. I find that if you can focus on one little green task at a time until it becomes natural, you won't get overwhelmed.
Check out noimpactman.typepad.com and rent his documentary, I think you will find it interesting.
